Sanford Children’s Specialty Clinic was one of 45 centers across the nation awarded a Cystic Fibrosis Research Facilitation Award. This grant has enabled the clinic to increase participation in Cystic Fibrosis clinical trials, giving our patients the opportunity to participate locally in various Cystic Fibrosis research studies. The clinic is currently participating in three clinical trials. These studies help develop new medications and treatments needed for continued progress towards a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
